Gonzalo Gironés dissenyarà el Cartell de Festes 2024

Gonzalo Gironés Sarrió is an illustrator and graphic designer specialized in advertising graphics based on illustration and animation. He has a degree in Fine Arts, a Master in Creative Design and illustration, and a University Specialist Degree in Design and Communication from the Universitat Politècnica de València. Since 2004 he is professionally dedicated to graphic design and advertising, being since 2007 a freelance professional, known as GongDisseny.

With great technical and stylistic versatility, he is characterized to bet for creative, original and totally personalized solutions. With a very casual and approachable character and style, he always tries to connect with the viewer by playing with visual impact and emotions. Thanks to his training and especially to his extensive experience, he has a great ability to adapt to different techniques and styles. In addition to advertising graphics, he is dedicated to art direction and projects in different sectors.

Among his most outstanding works we find some like the graphic image of San Dionisio 2018, for the City Council of Valencia; the image and graphic identity of the international capital of museums “The 20th Triennial Conference of the International Council of Museums Committee for Conservation (ICOM-CC) València 2023” and, more recently, the design of the characters of La Nit dels Monstres d’Ontinyent, Cullerot i Òbila.

Personally, he considers himself lucky to be able to dedicate himself professionally to his vocation and defines himself as an activist and staunch defender of his profession.
His connection with the fiesta is deeply rooted. The first years of his childhood he was a member of the Comparsa Fontanos, with all his family. Years later they all changed sides, specifically to the Comparsa Berberiscos, in which he was a member for more than 15 years. He is currently a member of the Comparsa Marineros, who hold the year of Captaincy, in which he is fully committed and involved in its organization.
