Data of interest
Comparsa founded in 1948 by a group of friends mostly from the festive world. Over the years it has become the largest troupe at our Festivals. Celebrators have come out of it to form other troupes such as the Saudites or Arquers.
The gala costume of the troupe consists of a red fez with a white Venetian-style turban and a white robe up to mid-leg that is covered with a blue vest with yellow trim, adorned with two golden moons on the front and one on the back. The clothing is complemented by a blue sash with red and yellow stripes with two braided fringes that hang from both legs and a white and brown striped cape with a hood. The dress is adorned with a gold metallic necklace and bracelets, a leather satchel and a wooden and metal strap on the shoulder. The shoes are blue shoes with yellow uppers decorated and white high socks.
The second outfit consists of a white djellaba with brown vertical stripes with a hood, a red fez, a leather satchel, high-top white slippers and high white socks.
Our official music band is the Agrupació Musical Ontinyent.
