Data of interest

Founded in 1975 when the Artur, Ron and Afonaítos clubs decided to abandon the sea of sailors and become knights and disciples of the Burgos nobleman Ruy Díaz de Vivar. The name of Cides superseded the initially intended Conquistadores.

The clothing they wear comes from the designs of the founding member of the troupe Luis Delgado Rojas, who adhered to the canons of the Christian warrior and introduced some Valencian allegorical elements referring to King James I such as the shield.

In 2007 they eliminated the helmet, giving way to a metal crown and the dalmatic was modified in sleeves and length, eliminating the meshes on the legs.
