Data of interest
Founded on September 26, 1966 for the first time in the festivities of 1967. It was originally formed by revelers from Kábilas and Marineros. They take the name of the pirates who besieged Spanish and English ships in the 18th century. These Bucaneros wanted to incorporate a new outfit rarely seen in this city.
It consists of a folded brimmed hat with a feather and red ribbon, white blouse, black trousers, boots, belt and leather bag. They wear the red cape on the inside and black on the outside over one shoulder and the typical medallion hangs around their neck.
The daily suit changes the white blouse to a yellow one while keeping the trousers, boots and belt.
