Data of interest
Founded on September 26, 1966, they participated for the first time in the festivities in 1967. Originally it was made up of revelers from the Kábilas and Marineros troupes. They take their name from the pirates who besieged Spanish and English ships in the 18th century. Under the name of Bucaneros they wanted to incorporate a new type of troupe rarely seen in this city.
Her costume consists of a folded-brimmed hat with a feather and red ribbon, a white blouse, black pants, boots, a belt, and a leather bag. They wear the red cape on the inside and black on the outside over one shoulder and the typical medallion that characterizes them hangs from their necks.
The daily outfit changes the white blouse for a yellow one while maintaining the pants, boots and belt.
