Data of interest

Founded in 1974, it took part in festivities for the first time in 1975. They take their name from the ancient Almogavers who fought alongside the Conquering King.

The design of the dress is original by the Almogàver José M. Reig Valls and has undergone very few modifications that should rather be called improvements. It consists of a red velvet tunic with short sleeves that is finished with black ends. On the chest they wear an eagle with the four bars of the crown of Aragon, leather belt and black velvet cloak with gold trim and white lining, boots, leather armlets and helmet with feathers.

The second dress was changed in 1985, replacing it with a design by Jordi Arrué, also from Almogàver, while respecting the beige and brown colors and incorporating the fleur de lis and cape.

The Palomar band has accompanied the Almogàvers since its foundation in 1974.
