The City Council of Ontinyent at the proposal of the Society of Festeros has commissioned the realization of the Poster of Fiestas 2023 to Xeles Tortosa Mora.
Degree in Fine Arts at the Faculty of San Carlos of the UPV in 2000. She is currently a high school and secondary school teacher, specializing in Drawing at the Josep Segrelles High School in Albaida. She teaches Technical Drawing I and II of Baccalaureate, Artistic Drawing of Baccalaureate and the subjects of Visual and Audiovisual Plastic Education of ESO.
His artistic career is marked by sculpture and medium and large format projects. However, in his works, he combines different languages such as painting, drawing, engraving, photography, video, graphic design and computer graphics.
It is worth mentioning some sculptural works that are in the public streets of Ontinyent.
He has carried out various public and private sculptural projects. Some examples of
large format projects is the design of a fountain with planters in Alcossebre, the design and direction of the steel sculptural work in the Mestre Ferrero park in Ontinyent in memory of the famous musician Ontinyentí.
Some examples of commissions in medium format as a leaded stained glass window, the modeling of St. Peter of Verona in bronze in Ontinyent, among others.
The sculptor obtains commissions of small format, figures in series for the comparsas of Ontinyent and for individuals.
She has participated in several group exhibitions in different fields and techniques, being the installation and sculpture the most recurrent field.
She has developed for four years the position of General Coordinator and Secretary of the association Font d’Art and has participated in all the exhibitions of the association since its entry in 2006.
In 2010 she did a Master’s degree in animation at the UPV, and in 2012 she presented her animation project “Gumi, tengo miedo” which can be visited on Youtube.
