The clothing, both gala and daily, has a lot to do with the popular clothing that was worn in the fields and cities of our country in the 18th and 19th centuries. In fact, the gala dress consists of an embroidered sheath or black velvet petticoat and black velvet pants, a red sash, panties, red garters, a blanket for the shoulders and a scarf around the neck. They wear stilettos and a jacket. In everyday clothing, the petticoat or vest is printed and the precious saragüell replaces the black pants.
In 1991, this troupe recovered the “Ball dels Llauradors”, which, along with other troupes, toured the streets of the town from the end of the 19th century until the Spanish War. Since 2008, this dance has been danced through the streets of Ontinyent on the Friday night before Semana Grande.
Also traditional, since its recovery in 1990, is the distribution of verses from the Nit de l’Alardo where the members of the troupe are named and signed by Granota del Pou del Canyís. Starting in 2022, he writes them together with La Granoteta del Pou de l’Olleta.
