The fines from the 2024 Festivities are allocated this year to ADELA CV

The governing board of the Sociedad de Festeros (Festive Society) has announced that this year the €2,900 collected from fines and penalties arising from breaches of the festival regulations have been allocated to the Valencian Association for ALS (ADELA CV). This decision was made by an automatic committee created within the Sociedad de Festeros itself, made up of the groups that held office two years ago. On this occasion, these were Llauradors, Arquers, Mudéjares, and Omeyas.

The fines correspond to infringements that occurred during the 2024 Festivities, including numerous warnings issued to the groups for various reasons. With this initiative, the Sociedad de Festeros continues the charitable approach started in 2019, allocating the proceeds from sanction processes to charitable organizations.

In previous years, the funds had been allocated to organizations such as ADIEM, AMO, Inclou-TEA, Cáritas Ontinyent, and AFAO, thereby reinforcing the festive institution’s commitment to the social and solidarity network of the city and the Valencian Community.
