This weekend, the city of Ontinyent experienced an intense sports event with the celebration of the Mig Any Fester 2025 Sports Championships. More than 600 participants from the 24 comparsas enjoyed an atmosphere of camaraderie, sportsmanship, and companionship in a festival that combined a passion for physical activity with festive tradition.

Organized by the Societat de Festers del Santíssim Crist de l’Agonia, in collaboration with the Ontinyent City Council, the event featured various sports disciplines, including men’s and women’s padel, table tennis, 3×3 basketball, volleyball, and 7-a-side football. The high level of participation and the great atmosphere were the highlights of the competition.

The event was a great opportunity to promote fellowship among members of the different comparsas and to demonstrate that sportsmanship is also a fundamental part of the Mig Any Fester. The organization highly appreciated the participation and the festive and sporting atmosphere that prevailed throughout the weekend.

This edition of the Mig Any Fester 2025 has once again confirmed that the combination of sports and celebration is a winning formula that strengthens bonds between the comparsas and keeps Ontinyent’s festive tradition alive. Congratulations to all the participants!

Next weekend, the Mig Any events will continue with the Bac and Domino Championship and the Foosball Tournament. All these events will take place at the Societat de Festers headquarters.
