The Moors and Christians of Ontinyent attracted the past Saturday all the gazes at the room of the Valencian Community at the International Fair of Tourism FITUR of Madrid.

The councillor of Fair, Parties and Traditions, Angels Muñoz, explained that “it was a wonderful day and very moving, where all and all could enjoy very a lot of at being able to check like visitors of Fitur apropaven to view the parade, ask us whence were and when were our parties to be able to visit us”. The councillor of Tourism, Mª José Alhambra excelled that “Ontinyent has returned to show that it is a big city, and are very satisfied of having been able to invite at the public of FITUR at accompanying us at August and come at enjoying of some full parties of colour and sentiment”. The President of the Society of Festers, Ricardo Calabuig, excelled that “the feelings have been very positive, have had the opportunity to show our party at one of the principal world fairs of tourism thanks to the City council and at the Deputation of Valencia and the interest of the persons asistents was very tall”.
